Keltock rises.

So, for now i decided to lay the focus in Keltock in a beginning war of two nations.

Amelian Republic: For long time a satellite state of a great Empire, the Amelian Republic fights long to get their Independence. After they win, the Young Nation rises in industrial and military power, but has to fight against the nature. Their land is floating in unsteady gasoline layers, so toxins and flamable gases are always a threat.

Now, many years after the Amelian Independence War, the big empire is a shadow of one's former self, defending the rest of their corrupt empire. They also want to get to their old glory and power. But as their army has lost many of his power, they cant do a devestating rush, and began to attack small isles along the amelian linies.

The Amelians, have bigger problems. Most of their land, the entire landmass is sinking down into deeper gasoline layers, and the land begins to get unlifeable. They are begging for some land to life, but it seems that none of the other countrys is willing t give a part of their own land. So we are now on a point of no return. Tha Amelian Republic has to move, with every power it has. The Witan, a Leader in times of great danger, electet by the Amelian Democratic Powers, is a peacful man, but it seems that their is no other way than war.

Amelian Military:
In summary, the Amelian military isnt prepared for a great war. Old weapons and vehicles, even older tactics. But it is beginning to change. The Amelian Guards, a Elite section of the Amelian Republic, a powerful part, experiments with new gear and tactics.
The Witan was Leader of the Amelian Guard, so he begins to change the whole Military Forces.

The Amelian Navy has the same Problems, but new types of ships are plannend and prepared for building, because a Expansion must lead by the Navy.


The Empire ( hasnt a name yet), should have charisitics of the roman empire, so far nothing about their army, navy, or social system is in my mind. but the amelian republic
is on a good way....

Keltock... More detailed

So the idea of my universe grows and becomes more detailed.

Setting:

Keltock plays on a gas planet like Jupiter or Saturn.
On these Planets there are flying isles, some small like a Rock,
some as big as isles, and some are as big as nations, like england.
(well i need a idea, why they are flyng, but i think i will get one soon)
the story play so far on a very small part of this planet ( because such aplante is huuuugggggeee^^)

On this Planet a Colonists Fleet from planet earth crashed. Because they
are spread by the crash , and with no contact to the home, they colonists
fall back into an age without high technology, loosing the legacy of their
race. Even the crash is forgotten after ages and ages, mistifed into religious
storys.

So the human beings of Keltock rise with the same problems, their ancestors had.
Persons with thirst for power, lead the growing Nations of Keltock in a struggle of war.
Were now in a time of a unsteady peace.

Nations:

So far i have only a idea for some nations, but their are many nations, some are smaller,
and some are bigger, so their is many space for new ideas.

Race 1:

Race one is the most detailed race so far. In stylistic devices it has some similarities with
germans. Their politic system is this of the ancient roman empire with an senate,
who elects an single man to lead the nation in war. This person is called WITAN.
(names have german background too) Their Army is overaged, the techniques are not as far as they could be.
Their ships are slow but heavy armored and their firepower is great, but firepower isnt everything.
the military is also outnumbered. But the time of change has begun. Without any known reason, the nations ground,
their flying isles begins to drop slowy. The air is getting toxic too, so to save their lives.
But the other nations dont understand, why they have to give their lands to their enemys, so the only way
ofexpansion is an agressive way. The WITAN, a young but also very intelligent and peacful man
is looking for every peacful way he can find to save the lives of his people, and sends expeditions
in the unknown regions.

Duty for my homecountry

Well, as a young man born in germany, it is my statuary duty to get a militaric education. So from now on i am a conscript.

Hello to the few who will read this!

The exams for school ending (hmm i have no better translation than this) will tart in a week, so everything is stoped, except learning ( this is what i try)

but i have said i will give some Infos about Keltock, so here they are:

Keltock plays on a gas planet from the size of jupiter. This planet has some parts with a atmopshere good for humans. There are also many flying isles, some are as big as a small continent, some are as small as hawaii, or even smaller.

For now all we are thinking of takes part in a "small" sector on the planet, where there is a higher concentration of flying isles. (small means here, that its only a sector 3 times bigger than the erath surface, which is very small for a planet from the size of jupiter.)

On this flying isles, there living some human being with different cultures, political systems and so on.

How the humans get on this planet, is forgotten in the past ( i knew how, but they dont)

As far e have some States planned, based on "real" states in her outward experience,
mostly is done for the "german" nation (we dont have actually names).

But no fear it isnt a universe in which there are some bad guys (mostly the germans) and some good guys. it should be like a "real" political system, where every nation has its reasons to do this or that.

Were planning more nations, leaned on the USA, The UK, JAPAN, and some more.

The military is so far divided in two parts, navy and ground forces.

The navy flyies with gib flying ships into the clouds, bringing the ground forces to their destination.

The styles of the ships is located somewhere between the last sailing ships, and modern ships, but should have a "old" feeling.

The ground forces of the "german" nations, are actually looking like a mix of soldiers in the napoleonic age, connected with some future aspects like HUDs and something more.

The ground forces of the "USA" has a civil war touch.

The ground forces of the "UK" , hmm.... there we dont have many, but i think a tricorn connected with a hud and a more modern uniform would look cool, for a captain, and maybe something with a kilt for the soldiers.....
